July Scripture Writing Plan: Promises of God

One of the greatest comforts for a believer is knowing that God always keeps His Word. People may disappoint us. Circumstances may change. Even our own hearts can waver. But the Lord remains faithful because He cannot deny who He is.

As you write these Scriptures throughout the month, don’t rush through them. Read them carefully. Consider what they teach you about the character of God. His promises are not wishful thinking or empty words. They are anchored in His unchanging nature.

Some promises were given to specific people at specific times, while others belong to every believer through Jesus Christ. As you study, ask the Holy Spirit for wisdom and understanding, and let His Word strengthen your faith and deepen your trust in the One who is always faithful.

My prayer is for these passages to remind you our confidence is never in our circumstances, but in the God who cannot lie and never fails to keep His promises. Whatever season you are walking through today, you can trust Him. His timing is perfect, His purposes are good, and His faithfulness never comes to an end.

Keep seeking Him. Keep reading His Word. Keep listening for His voice. The same God who made these promises is still faithful today.

Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. (Hebrews 10:23 NKJV).

This is part of a Scripture writing series. You can begin at any time. Wherever you are, you can start here.

Scripture writing is a simple way to slow down and stay grounded in God’s Word.

Take a few minutes each day to write out the passage, reflect on it, and listen for what God is speaking to you. There’s no pressure to do it perfectly. Just show up, open your Bible, and begin.
