About

Worshiping Jesus in every season. He is worthy, even when we don’t feel we are…

And in Him, we are loved, forgiven, and made new, even when we don’t feel it.

Prudence - Christian writer and devotional author

Hi, I’m Prudence.

I’ve been walking with God since 2004, learning what it means to follow Him in both steady seasons and stretching ones.

I began writing in 2005 as a way to hold onto what He was teaching me. As I spent time in His Word, I found myself wanting to capture those insights, not just for myself, but to share them. I wanted to teach what He was showing me, to put truth into words that could be returned to again and again.

That desire is what led me to begin publishing devotionals.

What started as something personal became something I could offer to others, especially for the moments when it’s hard to find the words to pray or stay grounded in truth.

Over time, that writing has been shaped through real life.

In the past two years, I’ve walked through ongoing physical challenges, including Ramsay Hunt syndrome and knee repair surgery. These seasons have required patience, endurance, and a deeper trust in God than I had known before.

I’ve learned what it means to worship through imbalance, fatigue, long recoveries, uncertainty, and even when I didn’t feel like it.

And through it all, the foundation has not changed:

Jesus Christ is Lord.
He is Savior.
He meets us right where we are, and He does not leave us there.

The gospel is not just where faith begins. It’s where we live.

We are not striving to earn our place with God.
Through Christ, we are invited into it.
Loved, forgiven, and continually made new by His grace.

This space is where I share Scripture-based encouragement, guided prayers, and reflections to help you stay grounded, especially in seasons where faith feels harder to hold onto.

Whether you’re rebuilding your spiritual life, walking through a difficult season, or simply need words to pray when yours feel out of reach, I hope this space serves you well.

If this is a place you’d like to return to, you’re welcome here.
Subscribe to receive new devotionals, prayers, and reflections as they’re shared.
